Wat Pak Nam, Buddhist temple in Phasi Charoen district, Bangkok, Thailand

The temple spans across several canals and features a prominent 69-meter tall bronze Buddha statue in front of the Maharatchamongkhon stupa.

Founded in 1610 during the Ayutthaya period, the temple received support from Thai kings until the late 19th century as a royal temple.

The temple functions as the origin point of the Dhammakaya tradition and maintains a significant Pali and Buddhist studies institute for monastic examinations.

Visitors can reach the temple by taking the Bangkok MRT to Bang Phai station, followed by a ten-minute walk or motorbike taxi ride.

The temple houses an 80-meter tall five-level stupa containing an emerald glass structure that preserves Buddhist relics.
