Şereflikoçhisar, Administrative district in Central Anatolia, Turkey.

The district covers 2,155 square kilometers of flat dry plains, rising between 900 and 1,200 meters above sea level near Lake Tuz.

The settlement traces its origins to the Hittite period and received the prefix 'Şerefli' in 1930 to honor local soldiers from Gallipoli.

Salt extraction from Lake Tuz remains a primary economic activity, shaping the daily routines and traditions of the local communities.

The district contains 64 neighborhoods and maintains essential services for its population of 33,140 residents, with a density of 15 people per square kilometer.

Mount Karasenir reaches 1,650 meters, marking the highest elevation point in this sparsely populated district near the Hirfanlı Reservoir.
