Loryma

Loryma is an ancient settlement in Mugla Province featuring stone walls, watchtowers, and building foundations from the Hellenistic era. The site displays a network of defensive structures and residential remains distributed across a hillside that slopes down toward the shoreline.

The settlement developed during the Hellenistic period as a fortified trading port serving the region. It played a key role in connecting maritime routes across the Mediterranean during this significant era of ancient civilization.
