The theatre stage building displays ornamental elements including reliefs, columns, niches, windows, and statues that reflect Greco-Roman architectural traditions.

The structure incorporates fifty-eight staircases distributed across three tiers, allowing efficient movement for thousands of visitors during performances and gatherings.

A peripheral wall added in the fourth century CE around the orchestra protected audiences during events that included animal displays and gladiatorial contests.
