Zeytintaşı Cave, Dripstone cave in Akbaş, Turkey
Located on a hillside at 225 meters above sea level, Zeytintaşı Cave extends through two levels spanning 233 meters in total length.
The Turkish Highway Administration discovered the cave during road construction works in 1997, leading to its development as a tourist destination in 2002.
Zeytintaşı Cave represents an important geological formation within the Serik district, connecting local communities to their natural environment through educational tours.
The cave system maintains a constant temperature and offers guided tours explaining the geological processes that formed its numerous limestone formations.
The cave contains mineral formations including soda straws measuring up to 70 centimeters in length with a thickness of 3 centimeters.
