İsmet İnönü House Museum, Former presidential residence and museum in Heybeliada, Turkey.
The İsmet İnönü House Museum occupies a four-story white mansion on Heybeliada island, containing original furnishings and personal artifacts from Turkey's second president.
The mansion, built in the 19th century by the Mavromatis family, became İsmet İnönü's residence in 1924 when he served as prime minister of Turkey.
The museum displays photographs, documents, and personal items that showcase the political and social developments during İnönü's leadership of the Turkish Republic.
Visitors can reach the museum by taking a regular ferry service from mainland Istanbul to Heybeliada, the second largest of the Princes' Islands.
The furniture in the museum was originally owned by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who gifted these pieces to İsmet İnönü's family in 1934.
