The Istanbul University Ridvan Celikel Archaeology Museum displays archaeological artifacts from different regions of Turkey within the Faculty of Literature building.
The museum opened on July 1, 2019, presenting collections that span from the Neolithic Age through the Byzantine Period with artifacts from Anatolian civilizations.
The collection includes jewelry, coins, statues, and archaeological objects from Hittite, Phrygian, Urartian, Lydian, Persian, Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods.
Located in the Vezneciler Campus, the museum welcomes visitors on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM with free admission.
The museum's foundation collection originates from the Prehistory Department Collection created by Halet Cambel, including stratified excavation samples from Alisar and Alacahoyuk.
