İstanbul Üniversitesi Rıdvan Çelikel Arkeoloji Müzesi

The Rıdvan Çelikel Archaeology Museum at Istanbul University houses objects from multiple periods of Turkish history. The collection features jewelry, coins, statues, and everyday items representing different ancient and medieval cultures across Anatolia.

The museum was established in 2019 based on the university's prehistory collection. This collection came from Halet Cambel and includes stratified excavation materials from important archaeological sites.

The collection includes jewelry, coins, statues, and archaeological objects from Hittite, Phrygian, Urartian, Lydian, Persian, Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods.

The museum is located on the Vezneciler campus and is accessible during weekdays. Admission is free, and you can visit whenever the museum is open.

The museum holds materials from Alisar and Alacahoyuk, sites of major archaeological importance in Anatolia. These collections show how archaeologists analyze and document different layers of ancient settlement.
