Ragip Pasa Library, Ottoman library in Laleli district, Istanbul, Turkey

The library building features a central dome reaching 12.3 meters in height, with its walls decorated with 18th-century ceramic tiles.

Grand Vizier Koca Ragip Pasha established the library in 1763, and his tomb stands in the garden of the complex.

The collection contains over 1,274 manuscripts, primarily written in Arabic, covering Islamic studies, history, literature, and other scientific fields.

The library operates under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and maintains connections with the Suleymaniye Library system.

The original collection started with 1,000 manuscripts from Ragip Pasha, later expanding through transfers from various educational institutions.
