Feng Chia University is a private higher education institution in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. The facility comprises eight colleges and operates across several sites including Fuhsing, Taifeng, Hanlin, Baozan, and Central Taiwan Science Park.
The institution began in 1961 as Feng Chia College of Engineering and Business within the city. Following relocation to the current location, it gained full university standing in 1980 and has since expanded its range of study fields.
The institution carries the name of Mr. Chiu Feng-Chia, a Taiwanese merchant and entrepreneur. Students gather in lecture halls and laboratories across the grounds, while planted areas and walkways organize the campus layout between buildings.
