Lie Mei Hall, Historic ancestral hall in Xiping Village, Taiwan.
The main structure of Lie Mei Hall displays traditional southern Fujian architectural elements with multiple courtyards and carefully planned gardens integrating natural elements.
Built between 1783 and 1785 after Lin Chin-Ming relocated from Fujian Province to Taiwan in 1754, establishing the foundation for the Lin family legacy.
The interior spaces contain altars, incense burners, and ancestral portraits, serving as a central location for family ceremonies and traditional ritual observations.
The hall operates as part of a museum complex, providing educational programs about Taiwanese heritage and traditional architectural practices throughout the year.
An artificial hill was constructed at the site in 1986 to maintain the original Feng Shui principles following the building's relocation.
