The Landmark, Skyscraper in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan
The Landmark is a 39-story office tower in central Taichung, rising 192 meters (630 ft) above street level with 7 underground floors. Its facade combines beige granite, grey glass, and dark metal panels into a composed, modern exterior.
The building was completed in 2019 as part of the development of Taichung's 7th Redevelopment Zone. It was one of several large projects that reshaped the central business district during that period.
The building's shape draws from the form of a traditional Chinese comb, visible in its rectangular body with gently rounded corners. This reference is subtle enough that most visitors notice it only once it is pointed out.
The tower stands in Taichung's central business district and can be spotted easily from several surrounding streets. The area around it is well developed, with shops, restaurants, and public transit options nearby.
Although the tower ranks as the third tallest building in the city, it does not stand in isolation: it is surrounded by several other tall buildings from the same redevelopment zone. This density makes the whole area feel like a cluster rather than a single reference point.
