Bade District

Bade District is an administrative area in Taoyuan City that covers approximately 34 square kilometers. It represents the smallest district within the municipality.

The area was originally called Bakuaicuo during the Qing Dynasty and later became Hachitoku Village under Japanese rule. After 1946, it took on its current name.

The district comprises 48 villages, each maintaining their own local customs and festivals. These communities shape daily life and social connections throughout the area.

National Freeway 2 connects this area to neighboring regions, making travel straightforward. Key institutions are accessible throughout the district.

Bade Pond Ecological Park features native plant species and water formations that reflect the local environment. The space serves both recreation and environmental education.
