Nuannuan District, Administrative district in Keelung, Taiwan.
Nuannuan District is an administrative area in Keelung with residential neighborhoods, local markets, temples, and infrastructure serving multiple urban villages. The district features mixed housing styles, from older buildings to modern structures, spread across sloped terrain typical of the city.
The area was part of Shichitoku village during Japanese rule and later became part of Kīrun District. These earlier administrative divisions shaped how the region developed and was eventually organized into its current form.
The area is home to temples like Nuannuan Ande and Chinshan, where locals come to pray and celebrate seasonal festivals throughout the year. These spaces reflect how spiritual traditions shape community life and bring people together.
Two railway stations, Nuannuan and Badu, connect the district to other parts of the city and surrounding areas. These train connections make it easy to get around both within and beyond the district.
The area is home to the Hsishih Reservoir, which supplies water and plays a key role in the district's infrastructure. The Nuantung Nursery Garden nearby grows plants and flowers that supply local markets.
