Minsyong Township

Minxiong Township spans across 85 square kilometers of the Chianan Plain, featuring low hills in its eastern section and 28 distinct villages.

The township emerged during the Qing Dynasty as a settlement area, developing into an important agricultural center for rice and sugarcane cultivation.

The township maintains numerous temples, including Baolin Temple and Dashihye Temple, where residents participate in traditional religious ceremonies throughout the year.

Travelers can reach Minxiong via the TRA Minxiong Station, which connects to major transportation networks across Chiayi County and beyond.

The National Radio Museum in Minxiong Township presents collections of broadcasting equipment and documents the evolution of communications in Taiwan.
