New Taipei City Xizhi Civil Sports Center

The Xizhi Civil Sports Center is a facility in Xizhi District offering indoor halls for basketball, badminton, swimming, and fitness training. The center brings together multiple sports and activity options in one location for residents and visitors.

The center opened on October 8, 2016 following a design competition, marking an important moment for New Taipei City's sports infrastructure. This opening brought a modern facility to the district that had been planned for some time.

The center serves as a gathering space where neighbors meet to exercise, compete, and participate in fitness classes together. It shapes the everyday rhythm of the district and welcomes people of all ages to stay active.

The facility is well connected by public transport and open from early morning until late evening for visitors. Changing rooms, showers, and equipment rental are available, making it straightforward for people to come and use the space.

The construction used Building Information Modeling, an advanced technique that improved efficiency and precision during building. This project helped set new standards for how sports facilities are built in Taiwan.
