Iron Fort

Iron Fort is a military installation featuring stone walls carved into coastal cliffs with multiple chambers throughout its structure. These rooms connect via underground passages that extend through the fort's layout.

Marked paths from Nangan's main road lead to the fort, with informational signs in multiple languages explaining its layout. Wear comfortable shoes as the paths are uneven and some passages can be narrow.

The fort once housed quarters for a military dog that held an official officer rank within the stationed unit. This unusual arrangement reflects the particular character of garrison life at the installation.
