Hutsulshchyna National Nature Park

Hutsulshchyna National Nature Park is a mountainous reserve in the Pokutian Carpathians featuring forested valleys, ridges, and mixed woodlands. The landscape includes spruce, fir, and beech trees at varying elevations that create different forest types and habitats.

The park was officially established in 2002, though forest protection efforts in the Carpathians trace back to the 17th century. This long conservation history reflects the region's enduring commitment to preserving its forests.
