The Kharkiv Philharmonic Society houses an Academic Symphony Orchestra with over one hundred musicians performing in renovated concert halls with advanced sound systems.
Established in 1929, the Philharmonic Society evolved into a primary musical institution where renowned composers like Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov performed during their careers.
The Academic Symphony Orchestra and Academic Choir present a repertoire spanning Ukrainian, Russian, and Western European compositions throughout regular concert seasons.
The Concert Hall features twelve Aero-20A line array systems and six UX-218A units, while the Organ Hall contains twenty-two Event-210A systems for optimal sound.
The recently constructed organ department contains an instrument with 5,700 pipes and 72 registers, making it a notable addition to Ukraine's musical infrastructure.
