Dulber, Moorish Revival palace in Koreiz, Ukraine.

Dulber is a palace combining Moorish and Egyptian Revival styles located in Koreiz. Its exterior and interior feature detailed tile patterns, rounded arches, and decorative elements inspired by North African and Eastern design traditions.

This palace was built in 1801 and became an important example of Crimean architecture during its period. Its creation coincided with a broader European interest in Eastern-inspired design that was reshaping architectural tastes.

The name comes from the Arabic word 'dilbar,' meaning beloved, reflecting the deep Middle Eastern influence on this place. Walking through, you notice how Eastern design shaped every detail here during a time when such styles fascinated European builders.

You can reach the palace by bus from Yalta to Koreiz. Guided tours are offered on certain days, so it's worth checking local information about current access and visiting conditions before going.

The building brings together North African tile mosaics with Egyptian design motifs in a combination that was unusual for its time. This blend of different Eastern traditions makes it a remarkable example of how European architects borrowed from multiple cultures.
