The beach stretches along the Black Sea coast with limestone cliffs, fine sand shoreline, and concrete platforms for visitors to walk on. The site includes changing rooms, showers, bio toilets, kayak rentals, water sports gear, and many restaurants serving European and Ukrainian food.
The site began as Count Langeron's private estate, which was given to the city of Odesa in 1831 for public recreation. This transformation turned it into a key destination for seaside leisure.
The entrance features a grand arch from the 1800s leading to a 400-meter promenade lined with palm trees where visitors can sit and relax. This area has become a gathering place where locals and travelers spend time together by the sea.
The best time to visit is between May and September when the weather is warm and dry. Bring sunscreen and allow time to explore the different areas, as the beach is quite large.
An art installation called Domus Solis stands on the beach, showing an ancient door structure that visitors love to photograph. This unusual artwork draws attention and becomes a memorable spot for travelers to capture.
