Palace of Arts, House of culture in Lviv, Ukraine.
The Palace of Arts is a house of culture in Lviv with twelve exhibition rooms and three lobbies, providing about 6,400 square meters of space in total. The various rooms allow different arrangements for exhibitions, events, and artistic presentations.
The building was founded in 1987 and designed by architect Wasyl Kamenszczyk as an important cultural center during the late Soviet period. It emerged at a time when Lviv was modernizing and expanding its artistic institutions.
This space brings together artists and creative professionals from Lviv and beyond, who gather to display their work and exchange ideas. The rooms host exhibitions, readings, and artistic events that shape the city's cultural life.
The building is located on Kopernyka Street 17 within walking distance of Rynok Square, making it easy to reach from the city center. It is accessible by public transportation and situated in a walkable part of town.
The main hall can hold up to 198 people and is regularly used for concerts and theatrical performances. The flexible seating and room configuration allow the interior to be quickly adapted for different types of events.
