Lviv Municipal Art Center

Lviv Municipal Art Center occupies a three-floor neo-Gothic building that houses exhibition spaces across multiple levels, along with dedicated areas for lectures and workshops. The rooms are designed to accommodate rotating exhibitions and cultural events throughout the year.

The building was designed by architect Adolf Kuhn in 1870 and originally served different purposes before undergoing major renovation in 2020. This transformation converted the vacant structure into a modern cultural facility for contemporary art.

The center brings together artists, musicians, filmmakers, and cultural professionals, creating a meeting point across different artistic fields. Visitors experience how contemporary art forms connect and dialogue with one another.

The center provides ramps, high-contrast safety markers, and informational materials for visitors with visual impairments. The facilities are designed to make visits comfortable and accessible for all guests.

The interior preserves vintage lamps discovered during renovation alongside painted ballet instruction boards from earlier decades. These found objects tell the story of the building's previous uses and add character to the modern spaces.
