Vvedenskyi Monastery, Orthodox monastery in Kyiv, Ukraine
The Vvedenskyi Monastery features traditional Orthodox architecture with white walls, multiple domes, and a prominent bell tower rising above the complex.
Founded in 1877 by widow Matron Yegorov, the monastery began as a women's religious community and received official recognition from Metropolitan Philotheus of Kyiv.
The monastery maintains daily religious services and preserves the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God, which holds particular significance in Orthodox traditions.
Religious services occur twice daily at the monastery, with afternoon ceremonies scheduled at 15:00 on holidays and 16:00 on regular days.
The monastery underwent complete restoration and reopening in 1996 following decades of closure during the Soviet period, marking a return to religious activity.
