The Saint George Church features red brick walls, white stone details, and five Byzantine-style domes arranged in a Greek cross layout.

Construction of the church began in 1897 following designs by Viennese architect Gustav Sachs and was completed in 1901 by Vincent Rawski's firm.

The interior contains a four-tier iconostasis created in Vienna in 1900, with polychrome decorations designed by Viennese artist Karl Jobst in 1902.

The church maintains regular services and houses important religious artifacts, including fragments of Saint Barbara's relics and the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God.

Four square towers mark the corners of the building, creating a distinctive silhouette with five peaks visible from different angles of the city.
