Mścichowski manor

Mścichowski manor is a castle in Seleznivka, Luhansk Oblast, displaying neo-Gothic architectural features with large windows and symmetrical facades. The structure extends across multiple wings with decorative moldings and elaborate ceiling work.

The estate underwent major changes during the 20th century, serving as an orphanage in the 1920s. Later it was converted into a tuberculosis medical facility in the 1980s.

The interior rooms display molded ceilings with musical motifs and artworks by painters such as Konstantin Makovski and Nikolai Sverchkov. These pieces show the refined taste of those who once lived here.

The manor is accessible via the main road leading into Seleznivka settlement, making it easy to find. Visitors should check local conditions before traveling, as access and the building's state may vary seasonally.

The estate once featured a winter garden with a bronze Hermes sculpture designed after Giovanni Bologna's work. The collection included rare porcelain from Sèvres and Russian imperial manufactories.
