Hannivka

Hannivka is an urban-type settlement in the Kadiivka urban hromada in eastern Ukraine. The settlement sits at approximately 180 meters elevation and is connected to surrounding areas through regional road networks.

The settlement grew during the 20th century from an agricultural community into an urban-type settlement. This transformation reflected broader economic and administrative shifts across the Luhansk region.

Local residents maintain eastern Ukrainian traditions through community gatherings, seasonal celebrations, and traditional farming practices passed down through generations.

Visitors should expect to find basic services available in the nearby city of Kadiivka rather than within the settlement itself. Travel is easiest during warmer months when road conditions are most favorable.

The administrative structure of Hannivka changed significantly in July 2020, marking a transition in local governance systems within the Kadiivka urban hromada.
