St. George church in Sedniv

The wooden St. George church stands at the Crown Castle tract with three domes and exhibits intricate wood carvings throughout its exterior and interior design.

The church, constructed in 1747 on the site of an earlier structure from the pre-Mongol period, served as a spiritual center for the Cossacks of Chernihiv Regiment.

The church maintains traditional Orthodox services and represents Ukrainian Baroque architecture with its characteristic multilevel design and decorative wooden elements.

Located at Kozatska Street 22A, the church sits one kilometer from central Sedniv and operates under the Orthodox Church of Ukraine administration.

The entire church structure, including its complex architectural elements and ornate decorations, was assembled without using any metal nails.
