Rose Valley, Cherkasy

Rose Valley is a protected green space along the Dnieper in Cherkasy featuring artificial lakes with fountains and winding walking paths across the grounds. Trimmed shrubs and small trees create distinct sections, while taller trees line the riverbank.

The site received its name from rose gardens that were planted during early development as a recreational space in Cherkasy. This green area was later protected to preserve its character for future visitors.

The bronze sundial with twelve surrounding chairs depicts characters from Ukrainian literature and invites visitors to connect with these stories. The sculpture and its layout show how the place celebrates local literary tradition.

The park provides plenty of benches positioned along the paths where visitors can rest and enjoy the surroundings. The walkways are well organized, allowing easy access to different areas throughout the site.

Many visitors overlook how the fountains and artificial lakes add a refreshing dimension to the landscape throughout the site. These water features create a more pleasant environment on warm days and show how nature and design work together here.
