Nyhznovorsklianskyi Park

Nyhznovorsklianskyi Park is a protected natural area spanning roughly 23,200 hectares along the Vorskla River valley in central Ukraine's Poltava region. The landscape combines forest-steppe areas with river valleys, creating multiple habitats for plants and animals.

The protected area was officially established in 2002, marking a turning point in Ukraine's environmental conservation efforts after the Soviet period ended. This decision reflected the country's renewed commitment to safeguarding its natural resources.

The park draws students and researchers who come to observe and study the local wildlife and plants up close. This outdoor classroom allows visitors to witness the natural rhythms of the ecosystem firsthand.

You can enter the area at several official access points, with the main entrance conveniently positioned for typical visitor routes. Bring water and wear comfortable footwear, as you will walk through varied terrain on your visit.
