Vynnytsia Fountain Roshen, Multimedia fountain on Southern Buh River, Vinnytsia, Ukraine.
The Roshen Fountain spans 97 meters in length with a central water stream reaching 70 meters high above the Southern Buh River surface.
The fountain project, completed in 2011 with an investment of 37 million Ukrainian hryvnias, transformed the Vinnytsia riverfront into a modern entertainment space.
Musicians from classical composers like Mozart and Tchaikovsky to modern artists provide the soundtrack for the water and light performances.
The fountain presents water and light shows every thirty minutes between 2:30 PM and 7:30 PM from April through October each year.
During winter months, specialized hibernation technology submerges the fountain equipment beneath the river ice to protect the mechanisms from freezing temperatures.
