Cosmos Museum, Astronautical museum in Pereiaslav, Ukraine.
The Cosmos Museum occupies the former Church of St. Paraskeva building, featuring five exhibition rooms with more than 450 space exploration items and artifacts.
The museum opened in 1979 through collaboration between Mikhail Sikorsk and the academy of sciences, collecting exhibits from Soviet and post-Soviet space programs.
The museum collection includes the spacesuit worn by Yuri Gagarin, memorial rooms dedicated to Sergei Korolev, and photographs from Mars and Venus missions.
Located on the outskirts of Kyiv, the museum welcomes visitors from Wednesday to Sunday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM throughout the year.
The museum houses Ukraine's first Foucault pendulum, weighing 10 kilograms, which demonstrates the rotation of Earth through its perpetual motion.
