Тернопільський зоокуток

Тернопільський зоокуток is an animal park in Ternopil featuring islands, canals, and water areas arranged throughout the Topilche Hydropark. More than 60 species live here, including horses, ponies, donkeys, goats, deer, peacocks, pheasants, ostriches, and swans in different zones.

The park was established in the 1980s within the southern section of the Topilche Hydropark as a home for domestic and wild animals. This founding created a lasting location where animals have lived for decades.

The place serves as a space where visitors observe animals in settings that reflect their natural habitats. Direct contact with different species gives people a real sense of how these creatures live and behave.

The best time to visit is early morning when animals are most active and light conditions are good for observing. The park is easy to walk through on foot and offers enough space to move around at a comfortable pace.

The park has specialized winter shelters built in 2020 to provide comfortable conditions for animals during cold months. These structures allow the animal residents to be properly cared for and protected year-round.
