Mass grave of 68 Soviet soldiers in Kryvyi Rih, Sviato-Mykolaivska Street, Military cemetery and monument on Sviato-Mykolaivska Street, Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine.

This memorial site contains the remains of 68 Soviet soldiers who died during World War II, marked by a monument on Sviato-Mykolaivska Street. The structure stands about 7 meters tall and is built from concrete, cast iron, and granite materials.

This memorial was established on March 1, 1944, following intense fighting between Soviet troops and German occupiers in the Kryvyi Rih region. The battles in this area resulted in significant casualties among Soviet forces.

The site serves as a gathering place where residents visit during remembrance days to pay respects and leave flowers for the fallen. These visits form an important part of local commemoration practices.

The memorial is open to visitors throughout the year and requires no entry fee. The site is located in a public area and can be easily visited.

Aleksandr Vasilevitsj Vasjakin designed the monument using a specific combination of materials chosen for durability and weather resistance. This thoughtful construction helps ensure the memorial remains intact for future generations.
