This memorial site was established on March 1, 1944, following intense battles between Soviet forces and German occupiers in the Kryvyi Rih region.

The memorial site, located at coordinates 47.901525 latitude and 33.341154 longitude, remains open to visitors throughout the year without entry fees.
Designer Aleksandr Vasilevitsj Vasjakin created this memorial using a combination of concrete, cast iron, and granite materials to ensure long-term preservation.
