St Munn's Parish Church, Kilmun

St Munn's Parish Church is a church building with a T-shaped layout and a square tower, constructed in 1841. The interior features arcaded galleries on both sides, and stained glass windows display biblical scenes throughout the space.

The current church was built in 1841 by architect Thomas Burns on the site of a medieval church founded by an Irish monk in the 7th century. This continuous religious presence on the site spans over a thousand years of local worship.

The Argyll Mausoleum within the church complex holds the remains of Clan Campbell members, making it a place of remembrance for this prominent Scottish family. The setting carries deep meaning for descendants and those interested in regional family heritage.
