Longford Hall, Country house in Longford, United Kingdom.

The hall features a symmetrical H-shaped layout with two three-story wings connected by a single-story central block in Derbyshire's countryside.

Construction of Longford Hall began in the 16th century for the de Longford family before undergoing major modifications in 1762 by architect Joseph Pickford.

The estate represents the evolution of English aristocratic residences, displaying architectural elements from different periods through its connected wings and structural design.

The property maintains its Grade II* listed status, which ensures preservation of its historical features while allowing contemporary residential use.

A fire destroyed sections of the central block and upper floors, leading to a 1960 restoration that left the top story as a decorative facade.
