Perrott's Folly, Grade II* listed folly tower in Edgbaston, England.

The six-story brick structure reaches 29 meters in height and features a circular stair tower attached to its main hexagonal body.

John Perrott commissioned the construction of this observation tower in 1758 near his residence to survey the surrounding Rotton Park lands.

The Geography Department of the University of Birmingham operated weather measurements at this location from 1966 until moving operations to their main campus.

The tower requires additional repairs to address water damage affecting the ornate plaster ceiling and upper sections of the structure.

From 1884 to 1979, meteorologist Abraham Follet Osler used the tower for systematic weather observations as part of early forecasting services.
