Pinewood Studios is a film and television studio in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire, 18 miles west of central London. Its entrance has a wide flat dark canopy roof on angled metal struts, with silver-grey letters reading "PINEWOOD STUDIOS" along the top edge and a grey glass-panelled security booth beneath. Behind it stands a two-storey building with a dark brown tiled roof, three front-facing gables and a black-and-white half-timbered upper facade.

The studio was built in 1935 on the grounds of Heatherden Hall when the British film industry was looking for larger production facilities. Over the following decades many international productions filmed here and led to repeated expansions of the site.

The name comes from the pine forests that once surrounded the grounds before stages and buildings took over the site. Today hundreds of film professionals work inside the halls and use workshops for set construction, props and costumes.

Pinewood runs guided studio tours that let visitors see sets and props left behind by past productions. The site lies near Iver Heath, about 18 miles west of central London.
