Now Arena is a multipurpose facility in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, with 11,218 seats for sports and entertainment events. The venue features modern design elements and luxury suites and provides space for sporting events of all kinds as well as concerts and exhibitions.
The facility opened in October 2006 under the name Sears Centre as a privately funded venue west of Chicago. The Village of Hoffman Estates took ownership in 2011 after financial difficulties of the original operators and continues to run the site as a public facility today.
The facility regularly serves as a venue for professional wrestling events and gained recognition through the All In show in 2018. That event laid groundwork for the later formation of All Elite Wrestling and drew thousands of fans to the Chicago area.
The facility sits near major highways in the Chicago metropolitan area and offers extensive parking options for visitors traveling by car. Access is fully designed for wheelchair users and allows guests with limited mobility to attend all events without difficulty.
The site has hosted the Illinois Recreational Cheerleading Association state championships annually since 2008 and draws numerous teams from across the state. These multi-day competitions regularly transform the venue into a center for acrobatic sport and bring together families and coaches from many regions.
