The garden was established by First Lady Ellen Louise Axson Wilson in 1913.
It has been traditionally used by presidents to make special announcements and for diplomatic receptions.
The garden measures approximately 125 feet long and 60 feet wide.
The Rose Garden has been redesigned several times throughout history, most recently in 2020.
