Bizarro, Hypercoaster at Six Flags New England, Massachusetts, United States
Bizarro is a steel coaster at Six Flags New England in Massachusetts, United States. The track carries riders through wide turns and steep drops over a distance of roughly 4000 feet (1200 meters), reaching speeds around 77 mph (125 km/h).
The coaster opened in 2000 and was later renamed after a character from the DC Comics universe. A redesign in 2009 added fog effects and new structures along the route.
The ride incorporated elements from DC Comics, featuring a theme based on the Superman character Bizarro with specific design elements and visual effects.
Visitors need to store their personal items in lockers before boarding, as nothing loose can remain with riders during the run. The coaster operates during the warmer months when the park is open.
The track runs through several tunnel sections filled with thick fog that limits what riders can see ahead. Colorful structures stand along the route and combine with the fog to create shifting impressions during the ride.
