Gotham City Gauntlet is a steel roller coaster at Six Flags New England in Agawam, Massachusetts. The ride sends guests over more than 1,200 feet of track with numerous turns and drops along the way.
The coaster was originally built in 2000 under the name Road Runner Express. It was moved to Six Flags New England in 2011 and redesigned with its Batman theme.
The ride tells a Batman-themed escape story through its different vehicles and track design. Visitors experience the narrative of breaking out while moving through the course.
Each car seats four passengers arranged in two rows. Visitors must meet a minimum height of 46 inches (117 cm) to ride.
The entire ride lasts just under two minutes. The coaster is known for its tight turns and rapid direction changes that create an unpredictable experience.
