Clinton Presidential Center, Presidential museum in Little Rock, United States
The Clinton Presidential Center is a presidential museum in Little Rock designed in a modern style, holding archive materials from the administration that served from 1993 to 2001. The main building rises like a glass bridge over the grounds, letting daylight flow into the exhibition spaces.
The facility opened in 2004 as the fourteenth library in the national archive system, built on a former industrial site along the riverfront. Since then it has drawn millions of visitors and helped reshape the surrounding area.
Named after the 42nd president, the museum displays personal items, gifts from world leaders, and documents from his time in office. Visitors walk through recreated rooms where major decisions were made, offering a window into life at the seat of government.
The center opens Monday through Saturday in the morning and afternoon, Sundays only in the early afternoon, with guided tours available during visiting hours. Parking is located near the entrance, and the galleries inside are accessible by elevator and ramps.
The grounds include a wetland restoration project covering roughly 13 acres (5 hectares) along the Arkansas River, now home to birds and other wildlife. An old railroad bridge was converted for pedestrians, connecting the museum to the opposite bank.
