William J. Clinton Library and Museum
The William J. Clinton Library and Museum is a national museum in Little Rock dedicated to the 42nd President of the United States. The building holds documents, photographs, and objects from his presidency as well as from his life before and after his time in office.
The library opened in 2004 and documents the events of Clinton's presidency in the 1990s. It displays his earlier career years and his time after leaving office through to the present day.
The museum offers self-guided tours through the exhibits with information panels and interactive displays. Visitors should allow two to three hours to fully explore the collection.
The building itself was designed by renowned architect James Polshek and sits on a promontory above the Arkansas River with views of Little Rock's skyline. The modern architecture and riverside setting form a backdrop for the historical material inside.
