Watson Pond State Park, Seasonal state park in Taunton, United States
Watson Pond State Park encompasses 10 acres with a 300-foot swimming beach, picnic areas, bathhouse, and pavilion along the eastern shore of Watson Pond.
The swimming facilities at Watson Pond remained closed for 18 years until 2006 when water quality improvements allowed the beach to reopen for public use.
The Massachusetts Great Places Commission recognized Watson Pond State Park in 2010 for its contribution to community recreation and natural preservation.
The park operates from Memorial Day through Columbus Day, charging Massachusetts residents 8 dollars and non-residents 30 dollars for daily parking.
The park maintains a beach wheelchair service and provides multiple accessible facilities for visitors with mobility requirements throughout its grounds.
