Roberto Clemente State Park, State park in Morris Heights, Bronx, United States
The 25-acre waterfront park extends along the Harlem River, featuring an Olympic-size pool, ball fields, basketball courts, and a recreation building.
Established in 1973 as Harlem River State Park, it became the first state park in an urban setting within New York State.
The park honors Roberto Clemente, the first Latino-American Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, who died during a humanitarian mission to Nicaragua.
Located near the Morris Heights Metro-North station, the park provides recreational facilities and waterfront access from 8 AM to 8:30 PM daily.
A Chimney Swift Tower stands in the park, offering shelter to these specialized birds while providing views of the Harlem River and High Bridge.
