St. Paul Minnesota Temple, Mormon temple in Oakdale, United States

The St. Paul Minnesota Temple features a light gray granite exterior with a single spire topped by an angel Moroni statue at 1,043 feet elevation.

Gordon B. Hinckley announced the temple construction on July 29, 1998, and Elder Hugh W. Pinnock led the groundbreaking ceremony two months later.

The temple stands as the first Mormon religious structure in Minnesota, marking the growth of Latter-day Saints since the state's first stake establishment in 1960.

Located at 2150 Hadley Ave N, the temple contains two ordinance rooms and two sealing rooms within its 10,700 square feet of space.

Early Mormon settlers arrived in Minnesota from Nauvoo in 1847 and established their community rather than continuing to Utah.
