1st Infantry Division Museum

The 1st Infantry Division Museum is located at Fort Riley and documents the history of a major military unit across multiple wars and deployments. The collection includes photographs, equipment, and documents that trace the course of various military operations.

The building was constructed in 1905 as a barracks and initially served the Cavalry School Band before later becoming a military museum. The unit itself has an even older history, with roots stretching back to the 1800s.
