33 Arch Street

33 Arch Street is a 33-story office tower reaching about 145 meters tall in Boston's Financial District. The building contains roughly 56,000 square meters of office space with retail spaces beneath its lower floors.

Construction began in 2001 and completed in 2004, adding a modern high-rise to Boston's skyline. The project was designed by the architecture firm Elkus Manfredi Architects.

The building uses granite stone cladding to blend with the neighboring Old South Meeting House and respect the historic surroundings. This consideration for the area shaped the final appearance of the structure.

Underground parking is available with about 850 spaces for visitors and tenants. The building is easily accessed on foot from the street and sits in the heart of Boston's commercial district.

The building has a wing-shaped design where twenty floors extend over the retail spaces below. This structure cleverly allows retail to function at street level while office space rises above.
