The 52-room Georgian-Federal mansion features 12 fireplaces and stands on 52 acres of land with gardens and outbuildings in eastern Ohio.
John Sutphin Jones purchased the estate in 1905 and hired architect Frank Packard to transform the previous Italianate villa into the current mansion design.
The mansion received Presidents Calvin Coolidge, William Howard Taft, and Warren G. Harding, while musicians Paderewski and Rachmaninoff performed on its Steinway piano.
The Bryn Du Commission manages the property for community events, weddings, meetings, and receptions throughout all seasons of the year.
The original sandstone used for construction came directly from quarries located on the property grounds during its initial 1865 building phase.
