Broom's Bloom, Hall and parlor residential house in Bel Air, Maryland, US.

Broom's Bloom is a two-story residential hall and parlor house in Bel Air built with frame and rubblestone construction. The building has gabled roofs, a partial stucco exterior, and a four-bay layout with varied roofing materials across its sections.

The house began in 1747 as a simple hall and parlor structure and then underwent four major rebuildings over generations. The final significant changes happened around the middle of the 20th century.

The family cemetery on the grounds holds some of the oldest gravestones in Harford County, showing the history of multiple generations connected to this place. The graves tell stories of families who settled in the region over a long time.

The property sits in Bel Air along Fountain Green Road and covers a large area of land with an 18th-century stone springhouse on the grounds. Visitors should know that the building stands on private land and access may be limited.

The property shows a rare case where a traditional room layout stayed intact even as new construction was added around the core over time. This consistency in the basic plan is uncommon for homes that were inhabited and changed for so long.
